The convention was a complete hit! We(Megan, Paul, and I)were slammed the entire weekend. I'm pretty sure most everybody was busy most of the time. I heard Saturday that both ATM's at palmer event center were tapped out by 2 o'clock. Pretty impressive since the doors didn't open until noon. I wasn't able to catch all the event's and contest's, but what I did see looked awesome. The Japanese/American backpiece, inspired by a Sailor Jerry Collins tattoo design, that I did won 2nd place in the backpiece/chest catagory. Bringing another one home for Austin. If you missed it, Sorry. There's always next year. Or, Houstin this summer possibly.

Welcome to the STAR OF TEXAS TATTOO ART REVIVAL info page!
The show kicks off Thursday night, January 11th with a big opening party at Emo's nightclub, located at 6th and Red River (and free with your weekend laminate). There will be advance ticket pick-up and weekend pass sales from 4:00-9:00pm at the Embassy Suites Town Lake. We'll also have shuttles available to the Emo's party for weekend pass holders; the shuttles will run from 9:30pm-2:30am.
Friday, January 12th - The Tattoo Convention floor, Feature Car exhibits and Art Gallery at the Palmer Events Center, 900 Barton Springs Rd will be open from noon to 10:00pm. In addition to live tattooing, unique vendors and tattoo contests, Wizzard's Legends of Pinstriping will be conducting Panel Jams and the Suicide Girls will be on hand for photographs and autographs.
Photgraphers from International Tattoo Art, Tattoo, The Wizzz and more will be on hand all weekend covering the event.
Saturday, January 13th - The tattoo floor and Art Gallery open again from noon-10:00pm. Live entertainment will include the Wizzard's Legends of Pinstriping Panel Jam, Suicide Girls and more. Shuttles will run from the Embassy Suites to 6th Street from 10:00pm-2:30am.
Sunday, January 14th - The Art Gallery and Tattoo floor will be open from noon-7:00pm. The Wizzard's Legends of Pinstriping Panel Jam is at 1:00pm, followed by Tattoo Contests at 2:00pm. There will be another Wizzard's Legends of Pinstriping Panel Jam at 5:00pm, followed by the Tattoo of the Day contest at 6:00pm. Tattooing, vendors and Suicide Girls will continue throughout.
