Creating an Online Community You begin by entering a community name, a welcome message, and a brief description of your community. You can also enter a list of key words that describe your community along with a geographic location (city, state, country) if your online community has a physical presence. Next, you customize the appearance of your community by uploading a unique community logo, choosing a color scheme, uploading an optional background image, and enabling the components that you wish to appear on your community page.
